YSAK 134: Kijiji Sucks hard on Twitter

I've heard rumour (or 'rumor' when it's Americans talking) that the key to effective use of social media is to provide compelling, fresh content to attract and keep and audience that'll find your material engaging and keep them coming back for more.

Check out what followers of @kijiji_canada get on Twitter:

# [kijiji.ca] As of this moment there are 3,528,744 classified ads online!about 2 hours ago

# [kijiji.ca] As of this moment there are 3,527,974 classified ads online!about 3 hours ago

# [kijiji.ca] As of this moment there are 3,528,288 classified ads online!about 4 hours ago

# [kijiji.ca] As of this moment there are 3,527,673 classified ads online!about 5 hours ago

# [kijiji.ca] As of this moment there are 3,527,671 classified ads online!about 6 hours ago

# [kijiji.ca] As of this moment there are 3,529,189 classified ads online!about 7 hours ago
.... and so on. Hot diggity damn! Make sure you sign up to Kijiji's twitter feed so your phone can go off each hour and tell you how many ads are online.

I think it's kinda cool when the number actually goes DOWN. Perhaps someone clever could figure out when Kijiji's drones nuke the spam.
