Kijiji Canada says it's working on delayed replies

Enough Kijiji.ca users have spoken up about late-arriving replies that Kijiji has been able to narrow down a problem and is pledging to fix it. Word today from Craig:

Hi,

We've been encountering an issue with replies to ads not being sent instantly. None of the replies have been lost, they have simply been delayed by up to a few hours. We're working on resolving and getting this issue fixed as soon as possible. Sorry for this problem. We work hard at finding and stopping all such issues, but with millions of users each day, it is a hard task and sometimes issues creep through.

Thanks again for your patience,

Craig

Note that this doesn't affect any concerns you may have about missing kijiji replies, or kijiji replies not going through. This isn't that. That, officially, doesn't exist and is your problem. It's been brought up in the forums many many many times, but there's still no acknowledgment that anything could be the matter on Kijiji's end. Meantime, double-check your spam folder and consider including an email address or phone number in your ads. (I won't be doing that myself -- I'm not in THAT much of a hurry to sell stuff, and don't want phone calls or spambots.)

Four years later and I just got a reply from a person on Kijiji Canada, 20 days after it was posted by the seller.

Thanks Kijiji.

It is now 2016 and the issue still exists. Way to get to the bottom of the issue.
