Remember VHS? Relive it for $200, sucker. (691)

I've heard people complain that some of the stuff on Kijiji is overpriced, and I can understand that. Myself, I put a 27" color television up there on the weekend for $50. Someone on Twitter said "How about free?" That rang true, so I changed the ad to say it was free if you also bought something else I was selling. A man came by and gave me $15 for an old vacuum cleaner and got the big-ass TV for free. That's how you sell obsolete crap.

This is not. This person is hustling a General Electric (GE) Images CG671 camcorder. It's a full-sized VHS camera that currently goes for $25 on eBay if you 'buy it now.'

This camcorder was introduced in 1991. That's 22 years ago. It was about $650 brand new at the time.

You can get brand new HD cameras for less than $200 today.

Unless there's a videotape of Prime Minister Stephen Harper's wife engaged in sexual relations with another woman stuck in the playback deck of this machine, there's no way it should be sold for anything more than $10.

And to top it off -- the feature gallery picture is a grey bag on a grey chair.
